Family Christmas Program
Nativity–An instant Christmas play with Jesus as the focus. Bring your family and friends and join our cast of stars as we celebrate Jesus’ birth with family, fun and faith at Sonnenberg Mennonite Church, 14367 Hackett Rd., Kidron, this coming Sunday, December 18. Beginning at 3:30 p.m., families will engage in a creative retelling of Jesus’ birth, including creating costumes, rehearsing, and then at 5:00 will present a full Christmas production. East Africa Drought
Outreach & Service Ministry is encouraging us to help MCC respond to the drought in East Africa. MCC is appealing for $1 million in contributions to support its response to the food crisis and drought in East Africa that has left 11 million people in need of humanitarian assistance. An immediate and extended response is essential for limiting the vulnerability of millions looking for enough food to survive. Please consider a gift to help fund initial efforts in Ethiopia and Kenya to provide supplemental food for at-risk groups, and to support food-for-work projects. Above-budget checks can be written to Sonnenberg Mennonite Church and designated for “East Africa Drought.” Please pray for the people of East Africa at this time of crisis and for learning about the bible in a fun setting. |
